Job Summary:

We are looking to bring in Class 1 drivers for a contract we have taken on with a global parcel company, to supply night trunkers across the North West including Middleton, Irlam, Liverpool, Warrington, Sheffield and Stoke.

Duties:

- Drive Class 1 HGV to transport depot to depot

- Ongoing routes available, long term

- Ensure all deliveries are made on time and in accordance with delivery schedules

- Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and perform basic maintenance tasks

- Adhere to traffic laws and regulations at all times

- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and vehicle maintenance

Skills:

- 12 minimum of regular Class 1 work in similar role

- Absolute minimum infringements on tachograph card

- Commercial driving licence (CPC)

- Excellent driving skills with a focus on safety

- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities

Suitability for the role is based on your tachograph data of the last 12 months.
